ABOUT

Anew Dimension is a nationally accredited (NAEYC®) and four star Parent Aware early childhood education program serving 82 children, ages 6 weeks to 9 years of age.  For over 40 years, we have grown and developed with the changing needs of our community.  We are committed to offering the highest quality care and education to children and families throughout the Twin Cities. Each classroom at Anew Dimension has unique and specialized curriculum, focusing on the development of each child with an emphasis on arts-based learning.  Academics are appropriately challenging and developmentally sound.

Anew Dimension uses an arts-based methodology in its approach to learning with an eclectic variety of curriculum sources.  The lead teachers at Anew Dimension are highly qualified, career professionals, with the education, skills, and experience that is essential to their roles within the program.  To foster the maximum growth of each child our teachers plan creative activities in the areas of art, sensory, language development, number concepts, fine motor, perceptual motor, and science.

Diversity is a key component within the Anew Dimension community. The children and parents at Anew Dimension, our staff and our board of directors are of varied cultural backgrounds.  Our staff have the ability to speak seven different languages.  Anew Dimension’s programs reflect the cooperation of this diverse group of people, who are respectful of different cultural backgrounds and who work successfully together.

Anew Dimension has developed an original and innovative theater arts curriculum for our children called Imagination Theatre.  Our theater uses original stories, music, and puppet models to ignite the imaginations of young children.  The stories are developmentally appropriate, with varied themes focusing on the value of creativity and imagination, diversity, kindness and community.  This curriculum was created in response to the overwhelming evidence suggesting the importance of arts in the cognitive, emotional, perceptive, and cultural development of children.
